Sometimes my mic dose not get recognised, but sometimes it dose. If it finally dose get recognised a few mins later it will say "you have unplugged something from your audio jack" when i didn't even touch anything.. So then i open up realtek and see that the mic is still connected, but sometimes it says there is no mic connected after that notification pops up.

I know my mic is the problems because when i unplugged my mic and not the head set audio jack the problem stopped. BUT, i switched out my head set and the problem is still there so i know i dont have a broken headset.
I reinstalled audio drivers and chipset drivers with no luck
i cleaned my connectors and dusted my computer
Made sure all connectors were connected
tryed connecting to the back and still the problems there

plz help THANKS!!

Did you reboot and see if the problem goes away?

Go to the Realtek HD Audio Manager from the Control Panel then click on the Advanced settings in the upper right corner. Chose separate input. Then check to see if the problem follows when moving to the back mic jack.

I'm older too. :) If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ;)

Are you sure you have the correct driver for your motherboard? Where did you get the "new" driver?
