I have 85 GB fat 32 data partition that I have transferred data to external and need
to know the process

Damn I am sorry I guess I got distracted. Anyway I have 85GB unallocated, that was
a fat32 data file. I want to get that 85GB back into NTFS system. To bring my HD back to default.

So this is a small partition set aside from another partition that's NTFS? If so, you should be able to delete the FAT32 partition, assuming all data is removed to it, and then enlarge the NTFS one to recapture that space. If that doesn't work in Disk Management, then Partition Wizard free will do it.
