Solved Recycle Bin Icon Gone

I tried personalization / desktop icon settings / recycle bin icon box is UN-checked however it is faded, and won't except being checked.
I tried system restore with no dates to fall back on.
I have no idea what happened.... it turned up gone, and I'm lost.

If it's on the Recycle Bin that's grayed out, then you might see if using the tutorial below to enable it may help and allow you to check it afterwards.
