U UsernameIssues a.k.a. UNI Guru Gold Member Local time 10:44 PM Messages 8,138 Oct 19, 2014 #6 As you know, it is showing the icon normally associated with a disabled adapter. What happens if you disable (just as a test) the wireless network adapter. Does the icon change at all? U UsernameIssues a.k.a. UNI Guru Gold Member Local time 10:44 PM Messages 8,138 Oct 19, 2014 #11 It sure seems like the icon cache is bad. The tooltip seems right (my English one says "Internet access"). It would seem that only your icon is wrong. The tool tip is correct and you do have internet access. I do not think that it is related, but it won't hurt to try the batch file that clears the icon database. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html My Computer My Computer Computer typeLaptopComputer Manufacturer/Model NumberEmployer provided Dell LatitudeOSW7 Pro SP1 64bitCPUi7Memory8GBGraphics Card(s)Intel HD GraphicsHard Drivescrappy SSDAntivirusEmployer mandated Symantec Endpoint ProtectionBrowserPale Moon 64bit, IE11 64bit & Chrome 64bit
