Reformatted PC cannot connect find ethernet controller

Guys i need your help
I just formatted my PC and changed my OS to Windows 7 home basic
but then after i reformatted it i cant connect to the internet.

What should i do?

It sounds like you're missing an ethernet driver. Basically, you have to find another computer and download the proper network drivers for you machine, then put them on a USB stick. You can then plug the USB stick into your machine and install them from there.

Once you have network access again, use Windows update to download the rest of your drivers.

You might be missing a driver for your nic. Perhaps that machine has a strange one that 7 doesn't already have drivers for.

If you can connect to the net on another machine ( obviously you can ), you should be able to find and d/l it using google.
