Windows 7 . . .
- x64 ?
- Windows 7 is the original OS.
- I guess OEM (Alienware)
- I didn't re-install the OS, no. It came with Windows 7 (I guess pre-installed)
- I ordered the laptop at around ~ September 2009 maybe.

Attached are the required files.

I keep having these blue screen crashes, with lots of 000000 's and a word called dump. (not really a computer nerd here)
Just imagine having to write a 2 page essay and all of a sudden while you're typing, the screen turns BLUE and it automatically restarts.

If anyone will take their valuable time to read through the laptop's problem, it will be much appreciated!

Thank you.

No, no, don't worry. You have more than enough details. ;)

First of all, run an sfc/scannow command three times in an elevated command prompt. Run each command followed by a reboot.

Next, check if all your drivers are up to date particularly your graphics drivers. The latest NVIDIA drivers can be found below.
NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

Finally, run a virus scan with your anti-virus. On top of that, run a full system scan with both Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hey, thanks for replying.

I did the SFC scan three times:

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
I'm currently scanning my computer with the Malware and I will scan it with MSE after.

I did the driver scan, apparently I have 26 old drivers? I can't update them because I have to download the program. Meh.

Edit: I went to Device Manager to update, but everytime I click on "Find update on the internet", it says the software is up to date? Maybe it's because I have Windows 7 x64

Is updating a driver easy as just pressing the "Install" button? Do I have to manually go to every website and update it? I'm scared if I update a driver with the wrong version and what not. x_x

Device Manager is not the best way to check whether drivers are up to date. For some reason, it seems to classify every driver as 'up to date'. Other 3rd party driver scanners or sweepers are reliable but only up to a point. For instance, it may notify you of one update but not of the next.

The only foolproof way to update your drivers is manually from the website. So just go to the NVIDIA link I provided above, and choose the appropriate specs from the drop down boxes. You'll then have to download and install it. After that, it's as simple as clicking Install.
