Hi Ive got a older loptop Acer aspire 5733-6437 15.6-Inch Notebook
2.66GHz Intel® Core™ i5-480M - 4GB DDR3 PC3-8500 memory - 320GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive. That Id like to clean install to the oem win 7 home premium 64bit on. I have the OEM Windows 7 product key but I dont have any acer backup media. I have ckecked out Tutorial quick reference list for Installing Windows 7 , How to Do a Upgrade Installation with Windows 7
How to Do a Clean Installation with Windows 7 , How to Create a Windows 7 Installation USB Key , How to Do a Custom Installation of Windows 7. , Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. I tryed some of links to get a win7 iso but they are older posts no luck is there still a way to get a win7 iso and do I need the exact
"win 7 home premium 64 bit" version ? I have acer drivers and bios , Ethernet updates and Simplix UpdatePack 7 23.8.10.. I recently installed win 10 on it but it doesn't run well to much drama for this old pos I never liked this laptop even when it was new. THX for any tips or tricks , xfree

With 4G of memory you should install Win 7 32 bits. It will run better with 32 bits than with 64 bits.
64 bits is to be used with more than 4G of memory.

Does the laptop still has the factory recover partition?
Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of ALL your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.

Any version of Win 7 has all types (Home, HP, Pro and ultimate). All you need to do is to delete \sources\ei.cfg on the Win 7 installation files and it will ask what version you want to install.

To make a Win 7 USB boot able drive:

Open a CMD window as administrator and type:

diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk)
clean
convert mbr
create part primary
select part 1
format fs=fat32 quick
assign
active
exit (to exit diskpart)

If you have a Win 7 installation iso file
On Win 7 use 7Zip to extract all files and folders from the Win 7 iso file to the USB drive.
On Win 10, mount the iso file and copy all files and folders to the USB drive.

To make Win 7 64 bits UEFI boot able you must add the \efi\boot folder

To make it universal (all Win 7 versions), go to \sources on the USB drive and delete \sources\ei.cfg

the ei.cfg file in the sources folder tells setup which edition to install.

THX for taking the time to reply As for "Does the laptop still has the factory recover partition?" I recently did a clean install of win 10 thats whats on it now. So I would say not. also a few years ago I wiped the drive and installed win 7 ult 64x and ran that without registration. Your suggestion to run 32x makes sense because I read on some acer forums about this model that like me they were having cooling problems fan running a lot unit getting hot.? I checked the model info and it does say "7 home premium 64bit" as per your suggestion I will try 32bit . Questions about downloading Win 7 on a different loptop I run firefox browser and bitdefender a/v win 10 laptop do I need to use m/s edge not firefox to get it d/l smoothly and or any other tips ? I dont think the os bit version is responsible for heat.

It should be capable of running x64 if that is what it came with, though it would benefit from a bit more ram.

According to crucial there are 2 ram slots. It will take 2x4gb pc12800 (1600mhz). Very cheap nowadays.

if you go back to the home version, check the battery compartment for a product key
