Reinstalled Windows 7, now won't read HDD

It's because my 2nd hard drive says "access denied" when it shouldn't be. It probably doesn't recognize me as the main user, but it's pissing me off that I can't get to my library of main programs.

It's because my 2nd hard drive says "access denied" when it shouldn't be. It probably doesn't recognize me as the main user, but it's pissing me off that I can't get to my library of main programs.

When you re-install the HD is owned by the new GUID (globally unique ID). All you probably have to do is take ownership. You can find the instructions on how to in the tutorial section here on seven forums.

I found out the reason, it's because I started the "fix" option a few hours ago and it was going through the hard drive. I think it just locked me out until it was finished.
