Ok look, Ive been trying to solve my USB driver problem for 3 days already, and none of them are success. So I decided to do a windows reinstall, or refresh maybe? without losing any data or files or even installed program inside my windows, it means this is not formatting. Maybe with reinstalling, I hope it can overwrite my current windows data (which is broken) with a new windows (that Im going to install). I have windows 7 ultimate SP1 and an ISO for windows installation which is not including SP1, is it working? If not, I will download the SP1 iso later.

First, I can only make an installation in boot section because Im not able to get into desktop since all my usb ports are not working and the mouse and keyboard will also not working, so I cant control my desktop.

Second, I want to make sure I wont lose any files during the reinstallation since I dont have any external to make backup of my files or data.

Third, sorry for my bad English.

You are going to be attempting a "dirty" install of Windows 7. A nonDestructive Windows 7 install sometimes can be done, often does not complete. If/when you find precise instructions for such, make sure you follow each step carefully.
Be fully aware that you could lose all your data files in this nonDestructive Install if you make certain wrong choices during the install attempt.

It sounds creepy, It's like overwriting the current windows with the new one right? Do u know if Im able to install any drivers, or transfer a file without getting into desktop? like in boot section or system recovery. If this is happen, I dont have to reinstall windows, just solving the usb issue with it.

USB ports don't need drivers to operate at a basic level, for example when entering bios from boot this is done well before windows starts and loads drivers or when you are installing windows onto a blank machine the mouse and keyboard still work.

If your USB ports are truly dead then I think its more likely you have a hardware fault than a software issue

Possible. My Acer still had the manufacturer's System Reserved and P[something] -- which held the factory spec rollback. In short, Acer eRecovery Managament gave me not only the OS, but also, several choices for drivers and programs. You just might have similar choices within your computer.

I wouldn`t attempt anything until you backup your data.

If you have nothing to store your data on, then just create another partition on the drive and put it there.

If you`ve hooked up another drive and the usb ports work fine then you don`t have a hardware issue.

Do you have your keyboard and mouse plugged into the black usb 2.0 ports ?
