Hey,

I've been trying forever now to RDP from a Windows 7 computer into a Windows 10 computer from two remote locations. Somethings i have to mention that might help:

  • I already allowed the connection on my Windows 10 computer through the "Remote" tab

  • Windows 10 computer is on a "Private" network (Cannot verify if the Windows 7 computer is)

  • Allowed literally every rule through the firewall for RDP (Windows 7 computer is allowed for public and private)

  • Using only the IP address of the computer (Windows 10 computer)

I'm really open to any ideas. Can anyone help me out?

What edition is the Windows 10 computer?
Home editions cannot host an RDP connection.

I literally have no idea what this even means.

When i did IPCONFIG in CMD i've used every IPv4 address in there. No luck.
