Remove System Folder Desktop Items

Hi,

How can I remove or hide these icons? I am tired of skimming through them when I am selecting a file from the desktop. They serve no purpose other than to take up space and slow me down.

You can't remove them from the desktop folder, but can be hidden on the desktop itself.

That's funny, they don't appear in the Desktop, or when I open Desktop Folder in Explorer, they only show up when uploading stuff.
