Solved Remove the "Focus Rectangle" from Icons

I just used this on Windows 8.1 update 1 x64 and it worked like a charm

I know this is an old thread... but we need someone who's able to create a new version of the Universal Focus Rectangle Remover so that it works with Windows 10 with the newer computers that boot using UEFI. It would be a tremendous help, since it seems the Focus Rectangle is ALWAYS ON now in Windows 10—I see it everywhere, buttons, tabs, selected items... it's a real pain. Any help from anyone would be so much appreciated by so many of us. ...anyone? ...anyone?

This zip file is the only suggestion that appears to work. At least for me. Win-7 Ultima 64 bit.
It was fun trying all the other ideas first. Back to why IExplorer will not resize anymore.

But i got some exciting news for you lot. I'm currently developing a similar DLL that will work in both

Win 8.1/ Win 10. Currently finishing up, we'll see how great it works in the end. The only thing i haven't figured out is how to make it work in Metro app/ modern UI for Windows 10. I'll update when it's finished and throw up a download link. Stay tuned!
