Solved Removing old GPU

Anyone has any advise how to remove my current GPU?
Space between GPU and CPU radiator is too narrow to bull that thing on MOBO. or can I just pull GPU from MOBO without fear that it could break either of them?

MOBO: Asus P8H67-M LE
GPU: Asus GTX760-DC2OC
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14

(I know that I should get better MOBO, but since I have LGA1155 i7-3770K CPU it's too late for now to get new. Also here ain't any larger size LGA1155 mobo's in store(s) also in second-hand store/online)

It doesn't look like it has any locking clip on the back end of it so yea just release the orange/ yellow front clip and screw and lift out.

It looks to me like there's a locking clip!

Ideally, it's a two person job. One person with steady hands uses a tool to displace the locking clip and the other removes the card.

If it does it sure does not look like a conventional one like ram has and all I've seem on pci-e slots have those types of locking clips.

There are different types. I had never heard of the kind you describe until I just did some Googling. Unless I'm mistaken, this board uses the kind seen here:

They don't look like much, but you do need to mind them.

Remove the orange/clip whatever it is at the back of the case, carefully bend the blue locking tab out a bit from the card, it easily looks reachable, carefully pull the card straight up, you do not need 2 people to do it.

But be careful.

Yea I've got that same cpu cooler it is a monster

You might "not sure if you tried it or not" but I would spin it so it's pushing air out the back
Yours looks a lot closer to the gpu than mine does
Which means it's pulling all of the heat from the gpu through it and they usually are the hottest item in the case.

Yes, why is your cooler facing the wrong way :huh:

It should be facing East/West not North/South

And why no rear exhaust fan ? Won`t fit ?

I can say for sure there is no room for a rear case fan not a normal thickness one that is

How do you know ? Do you have that case ?

You can always put a fan on the outside of the case if you have to.

If this is his case (according to his specs) then he should have plenty of room to do whatever he wants.

I know it won't fit in my case like that.
Besides the cooler we're talking about already has 2 fans on it not just one.
