Removing older OS after installed Windows 7

I used Vista and openSUSE ( Vista installed first ) ,but i decided to move to Windows 7. Created a new partiton on my hard drive and installed Windows 7 ( fresh install,,not upgrade). Since the openSUSE bootloader was deleted ( i can't enter into my linux OS,but will reinstall it later ) Vista become unavaliable.
My question:
Can i remove the Vista partiton safely ? ( bootmgr,bootsec,system files )

If there is nothing on the drive containing Vista that you want you could format the drive. If the Windows 7 installation associated itself with the Vista partition and won't boot you would have to run a Repair Installation which would associate the MBR with Windows 7.

Currently Vista is on partition D,Windows 7 is on partition C,and Windows boot manager is on partition S.

You should be fine, but again, should you not be able to boot, run the Repair and it may need to re-associate files, not saying it will but more as an advisory of what may happen.
