Solved Reorganize Recycle Bin

I'm looking in the Recycle Bin for a Word document recently deleted accidentally.

The Recycle bin has seemingly "hundreds" of .png icons with Word icons here and there. How can I change icons to "words"?

Can I sort by date deleted?

I'm running win7 Home Premium.

You can click on the "Date Deleted" column title to sort by it.

There are no real "columns". Icons are arranged in three columns of a sort, all with similar material with no headings. I must change from icons to (not sure of the name) where I see words in columns, with no icons.
How do I make that change?

It sounds like you need to change the "View" to "Details" first.

I figured it out! I right-clicked in an empty area of the recycle bin and selected Sort By the date.
Deletions I'm interested in are at the top. Brink: Thanks for your responses. I solved it before reading your last answer, which I'll check further. Now, how do I close this thread?
