Repeated error BSOD 0x0000000D1

Hi,

Today i faced over 6 times the same error, with number 0x0000000D1

Many Issues

These crashes were related to you ESET. I would remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

Astra64.sys from 2005, remove it or update to current.

sptd.sys

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

when you're done you can use this Freeware:

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

I tried to unistall eset smart security 4, and it took about half an hour.

So, because the last time i did a clean installation (format) was about two years earlier, i decided to do a format, and now evethign works fine

So, it might was a issue of eset or old drivers.

Good Job and Good luck. Clean installs do wonders and I dont understand why most people dont want to do them.

Most times i prefer clean installs, that was one of the few times i try to correct the issue, and that because it was my pc that i worked, and had lots of programms and settings set up.
