Have you downloaded any third party desktop themes ?
If so from where and if you have uninstall it or delete it which ever the option is and switch to a built in windows aero theme and test.

Bing Desktop. It changes to Bing's daily picture each day. I will try it.

The only thing about Bing Desktop, is that it's an update. So, if I uninstall it, it will be coming back wanting me to install it again since it's an update. So, what do I do?

No it should be okay although I've never used it,
Does it run on the screen saver when your computer sleeps,

No, the computer doesn't have a screensaver. The screen goes off after no one is using it, and shortly after that it goes to sleep or hibernation. I will do the following as you recommended.

Remind me if this is a laptop or a desktop
Desktops would not need a hibernation use and it's much faster to shut down than use hibernation/ hybrid sleep mode
so use regular sleep mode and the timing you want,

Only a laptop would be okay on hybrid sleep but only on low battery

I've found generally people that use hybrid sleep never really shut down their machines which pending updates could be waiting to fully install.

It hasn't done it today, since I worked on it. But, I will still continue to monitor it.

Okay. I did what you said to do with the Resource Manager and Wait Chain. The problems reported were IE stopped working, and Windows didn't shut down properly. Both problems were reported to Microsoft. No fix provided for the unexpected shutdown. It also couldn't come out of hibernation again when I woke it up from sleep.
