Hi. My screen resolution is stuck at 640X480 after installing windows 7 on my desktop PC. I have a Intel 845 Chipset M\B (D845GVSR). I went to intel's website but there is no support nor drivers for this motberboard. Windows did load a driver but when I try to change the resolution it is greyd-out. I have a LG Flatron L1720B screen and onboard GFX.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

JP

I solved the problem with the help of Sirdan's post. This is what I did. I went to the site that Sirdan suggested for my Intel M\B drivers. I downloaded the onboard video driver and saved it to my desktop. Unzipped the folder and went to device manager. I uninstalled the driver that windows 7 had gave it and restarted the PC. After the PC was in windows again I went back to device manager and double clicked on the video driver (which had a indicator next to it) Went to driver tab, update driver. I browsed for the driver that i unzipped to my desktop and went to the win2000 folder. It started to install the driver and after a while the screen went black and came on again. After the installation I could set the resolution to anything that I wanted to.

Thanks again for all the help guys! Really appreciated it :D
