Reverting back to windows 10

I am running windows 8 and upgraded a while back to 10 when it was free Can I reinstalled 8 as i was having problems can I reinstall 10 again by the free method or will I have to buy a new one I assuming this applies to 7 as well

As you have a laptop which I assume came with Windows 8 preinstalled, and you have already installed Windows 10, you are in the best position.

The Windows 8 key should be imbedded in the laptop's tpm chip and your windows 10 activation is stored on Microsoft's servers.

You should take some time to download an installer for Windows 8 (from Lenovo), and one for Windows 10 (from Microsoft)

you can then install either OS and it will automatically activate

If you have an installer for Win7 and a valid key for the version you have [and possibly the hardware), you can manually install without any issue, I you need to purchase a copy of Win7 then be prepared to pay several hundred pounds, If you can find a legitimate copy, (do not use eBay as most if not all those for sale are counterfeit)
