Run instead of download - Chrome thread

Is there an extension, or a possible way of being able to run the program instead of downloading it, and then running it. Like in Internet Explorer?

This isn't an option in Chrome and I don't see any extensions to accomplish such. But will give my opinion that it is always best to download and then run. A Guy

Sure they may add it as a feature eventually unless they have security reasons not to. All the major browsers have that feature. A Guy
