Apologies for the repost, but maybe this is a better place for this question.

Does anyone know if there are changes I need to make for my S.M.A.R.T. service monitoring software to work with 32-bit Windows 7 Professional? I've used Active Smart with XP and it was working fine, but now does not show any drives to monitor. Also, I've used Western Digital's Win DLG software, and it does not have any S.M.A.R.T. data showing either.

I've been emailing the support folks at Ariolic Software (Active SMART's designer), but have not gotten any real answer.

I've Google'd this several times without luck, and have not found anything on this forum so far.

I do have S.M.A.R.T. enabled in the BIOS on each of the 3 internal drives I have, all of which are S.M.A.R.T. capable. ( All SATA drives, 2 1TB drives, and 1 320GB drive.

Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

Kevin

What are the model numbers of your hard drives? Also, I think you have a typo in your system specs. Asus M2N instead of MN2.

I haven't researched everything yet, but I don't think Asus supports Windows 7 on your motherboard, which might explain the lack of SMART monitoring. I'm not 100% on that, however. Have you tried GSmartControl?

Yes, you're correct, the motherboard is the M2N.

Here are the model numbers of my HD's

1TB: WDC WD10 01FALS-00J7B
1TB: WDC WD10 01FALS-00U9B
320GB: WDC WD32 00YS-01PGB0

I'll give GSmartControl a try.

Thanks
