Solved Screen goes black, safe mode comes up

After the fan + heat sink is back over the CPU we can focus on the GPU where I believe the problem is.

Problem Solved!!!!!

Megahertz07 has saved the day!!!!! We were looking at having to get another computer to replace my Windows 7. Turns out the problem was DUST!!!!!!! It was every where. My computer was going black screen, had to be shut down and restarted in safe mode because it was overheating from all the dust!!!

I feel so greatful and relieved!! Now we don't have to spend $1,000 to be forced into buying a Windiws 10 computer. And it is even faster than before!!! I love it!!!

Just be sure and clean it every month and you will be in good shape. I always have compressed air on hand to spray the dust.

There are many issues that a black screen signals about. Here is what you can do:
1) Check device connection
2) Check display connection
3) Check the Default Display
4) Uninstall the Device Driver for Display and Auto-install

Newb777 There is nothing wrong with my Windows 7. I have 10 on my laptop and hate it. Keeping 7 on the desktop. Removed a lot of programs I don't use or are obsolete. Ran scans, it's all good.
