Samsung NP350V5C-A06UK Laptop - Windows 7 boot problem

I recently bought a Samsung NP350V5C-A06UK laptop with windows 8 pre-installed on it. I deleted all partitions when I began installing Windows 7 on the laptop (deleting the horrid Windows 8 in the process).
The problem I have now is that I can't boot straight to windows. All I get is a blank screen. I have to go into bios (F2) and boot from the exit screen by selecting the hard drive listed there.

Within the bios I have disabled:
Fast bios mode,
Secure boot,
and changed OS mode selection to "UEFI and Legacy OS"

Hello and welcome Mcclaine Mate for all the problems it is going to cause personally I would have one of to things
1: stuck with 8 and use on of the programs that starts it up like 7
2: I would find some way of wiping that drive buy an OEM 7 and install it.

Of course you do realise that this will void any warranty eh?

Usually if you try to install over another OS it means problems the other thing is is to buy a new drive not expensive depending on what you want of course. I do see it comes with a 1TB drive bit if you go 500GB then you can always clone to the larger one not vice versa. Myself I do not like larger than 500GB as when the big ones go south so does a lot of data. The 1TB you could wipe anyway put it in an enclosure and use it as an external.

Did you install in UEFI?

As the new MOBO's now have a uEFI/BIOS firmware.

Understand UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS - YouTube to make an informed decision whether you really want UEFI.

If so then unplug all other HD's, boot into the Win7 disk to run Startup Repair - Run up to 3 Separate Times to see if it will correct the startup issues.

Make sure Win7 HDD remains set first to boot in BIOS setup if other HD's are plugged in.

If this fails you can also Bypass UEFI to Install WIn7 which has resolved all problems users have with UEFI.
