I fail to understand your point. There is no Sata 200 or Sata 300. There are Sata 2 and Sata 3 ports on the mobo. But the OCZ SSD you chose is a Sata 2 model.

SATA 2 is limited to 3Gbps and SATA 3 is 6Gbps.

Based on your computers spec (without googling your mobo) im going to say you dont have SATA3. that doesnt mean you cant run a SATA3 drive, it just will be limited to 3Gbps.

As the drive youve chosen is only SATA2 i wouldnt worry and buy with confidence.

What others have already said. However since the sata III ssd should work just fine on the sata II board, (that's what I'm currently running), consider purchasing a sata III ssd. Even a small premium for the sata III drive may be worth it since it will save you from buying again for when you upgrade to a sata III MoBo. Just a thought ....

There is a lot of confusion about the necessity to have a Sata3 port for a Sata III SSD and the possible advantages.

Since the SSDs are now used for the OS more or less exclusively, you have to look at the blocksizes that the OS employs - and those are predominently 4K.

Take the example of my new Crucial M4 which is a Sata III device on a Sata3 port. Whilst it can read large blocks at 280MB/sec, the 4K blocks go at 120MB/sec. If you convert that to Gb/sec you get approximately 1.2Gb/sec and 2.8Gb/sec respectively (1 byte is 8 data bits and 1 check bit - so I just multiply by 10 to make it easier).

Now both 1.2Gb/sec and 2.8Gb/sec can be nicely handled by a Sata2 port. So there is really no reason to stand on your head for a Sata3 port.

The advantage you get when you buy a Sata III SSD and attach it to a Sata2 port is a faster R/W speed at the 4K level. E.g. my latest Vertex II can only read at 70GB/sec versus the 120GB/sec for the M4 at the 4K level. And that is what counts for the OS.

Run Atto on your SSD to get comparable numbers.
