Hello-

Really not sure how to explain this, but we'll give it a go!...

First, please no comments about going to Windows 10!...that's already underway!

OK, when I'm on a website and right click on a photo, for instance, the pane that opens

comes up full screen, and appears to be somehow linked to my Opera browser.

It's not the same pane as shows up in Windows Explorer.

This happens on the 'Save As' and 'Open' panes.

Here are some photos for clarity.

Thanks for any help.

I can't help you with your issue only to help you know that Opera has COVID19 written in its code. In other words, it's a Chinese made browser and that so called "VPN" is a proxy and probably monitored. I block that proxy via CloudFlare for my website.

Don't believe me? Read here: Opera (web browser) - Wikipedia

I have to tell you, you might be better off with Brave or the niche browser Pale Moon. I use Pale Moon myself, but it's not for everyone. And I feel I should tell you and the world reading this that Chrome & Chromium based browsers use Webextension code and that's a major privacy/security plagued code. Where's Pale Moon still uses the tried and true XUL code for extensions. Again, Pale Moon isn't for everyone. And Google, etc discriminate against Pale Moon. If you're not running Chrome or Firefox for example, you'll never be able to solve a Recaptcha. That's why I keep an old plain vanilla Firefox install for such form requests.

Tried Brave...they've a long way to go to get site tile page up and running.

Yes, well aware of the Chinese owning Opera.

Everyone likes to be heard- America: Modern Rome.

I had a specific issue, has nothing to do with the Chinese, or Windows 10, etc...Thought we were clear
and specific in the OP.

The only thing I know for certain is that I made an errant swipe with the mouse because the cat
distracted me...it did something, and I don't know what.

But, hey...thanks anyway.

All y'all are listening too much to the alphabet media. Do you really know what the 'coronavirus' is about?

I can certainly tell you, but naah, not the place, and I don't think anyone would be open to the modern day
way the global intel community works. NONE of our computers are safe, if they really want to access them,
and no one here certainly has the financial assets that any US enemies would want. Guaranteed.
But, yeah, you're free to think what you will, for now.

Best Wishes to everyone...

timw128,
You give up too easily!
Sounds like your Opera user profile is corrupt. I'd uninstall it with revo and then reinstall it with Ninite Opera One Click Installer
