Solved Saving Files Below Each Other on Windows 7's Desktop

Lucky? This isn't my first installation of Windows 7. It has to be something else.

Regardless, I'm relieved that there's a solution.

Call it whatever you want. I've installed Windows 7 a few other times as well. I'm ocd, what can I say? Haha

Rynn21 are you using the same media to install Windows 7? Maybe it's corrupt. Where did you get your copy of Windows 7?
I only have two computers with Windows 7 and neither have the problem you describe.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that my installation of the OS has never been corrupted. I always use a physical disc to install Windows 7. Many people have this issue. Everyone else doesn't notice it or care that it does that. Most people also prefer being able to manually move the icons where they want it. I'm content with using Fences. There's other trivial dislikes I have with 7, like the search function, etc. but to each their own. Thanks everyone for their help.
ISSUE RESOLVED.
