Brand new install of Win 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Windows installed a driver automatically for my soundcard, but I had no sound... great.

So I downloaded a newer driver from Creative's site (2.18.0011) but it refuses to install, saying it can't find a supported product!

My Audigy2 works perfectly under XP so it's not a hardware issue.

Help!

Sound cards that work with 7 thread http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/21804-creative-sound-cards.html I have a 2ZS download the driver to your desktop>open.click on properties> check the box run in compatibiity mode> XP. Run as administrator. Or go to device mngr>update driver>search for myself> point it to the file on your desktop. Your post is a little misleading. It says Audigy 2xs which I think you meant 2ZS but then inside your post you say my audigy 2 works fine in XP??
