Solved Screen saver not working

I solved it with my copy of Windows 7. It was the X-Box controller that was causing it to not work, & unplugging it SOLVED the issue My guess is the cheap proportional thumbpad off centered itself & gave signals to windows like I was using it, preventing my screensaver from working until I unplugged it.

Hi all,
has anybody had experience with the screen saver not working? Mine is set up to light up the screen after 10 min but it doesn't want to come out to play
Everything is set up OK in "personalisation", get the preview when I click on it but zilch action after the due time.

i had that issue. the way i got around it was to go back to the personalization screen. in the lower left you will see the desktop background icon. open that up. then go to the folder where you had your pictures. that is if your using the "photo" screen saver. copy all the pictures from the folder you wan tto use. then go back to that empty space in the background icon. Paste your poictures there. you will also see a selction as to how often to change the background. make your selection ./ got out of that . go to your screen savers and select "none" chose 'apply" adn ok your done!
