Is it possible to take a screenshot while using Management Console in command prompt of Startup Repair, or Partition Recovery Wizard from the Mini-Tool Partition Magic bootable disk? My computer will not boot due to a 0x490 boot error. Is a Windows 7 bootable file necessary to screenprint?

It would be if you were running it in a virtual machine to be able to take a screenshot of the running VM. Otherwise a digital camera usually works well.

gregrocker: Thanks for the reply. What is meant by PW drive map? Is this the results of management console? I did find your posting "Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start" a few days ago. It helped me to understand the issue and the fix. I do not want to get into this here since my previous post "0X490 error, Boot sector for system disk partition is corrupt” covers that issue with my laptop. Can you look at my post? It provides all the info I have at this time.
