Serious question...

We all have our likes and dislikes . I rooooooolly hate the Sigs and find them so off putting that i would not want to be a member if i could not disable them. The Rep business is not my cuppa tea at all, and the last time i looked there was even a religious one as well. Grrrrr!!!

Fortunately the site can be tailored to suit most needs.

TBH, I normally dislike them too, but the ones on this site generally don't bother me at all. As for rep, it's easy enough to ignore it.
