server 2008 with mulitple IP addresses

I want to give my clients the ability to use more then one IP address
im not sure what there main reason is but I have been asked many times for more IP addresses from my RDP clients
I see a change to make more $ without having to get more servers or charge the clients a lot of $

some sites will limit how much work you can do from an IP
I think some people want to use multiple IP's to get around that

Typically you would only need multiple IP addresses if you are hosting a website or some service on the internet to maintain redundancy. There really isn't much need to use multiple IP addresses when accessing the internet unless you wish to bypass something. For example if you were banned from a server by your IP address. Some people use proxy servers to hide their IP addresses and evade region locked websites.

If you can find out why they need the addresses it can help us how to apply the addresses. Unless trusted I would be reluctant to provide them the extra addresses unless given a valid reason why. That is just what I would do if I was in your situation.

Josh :)

I think forum bans is a big pert of things
but still that wouldn't explain why I have people asking how many cheap servers I can give them a slot on
to get by a ban they would only need one

im not sure what the main reason is I just know some people are looking to get as many IP's as they can
and I can add them to the server for €1 each
so I see an easy way to make some € here by giving people what they want on one server instead of 10
if I can just figure out how to let the servers browser work using any of the dif IP's attached to the server

don't think it has anything to do with hacking but then maybe you know something I don't
O well don't sound like it's possible anyway

It's a grey area. Bypassing someones system is technically a form of hacking.
