Hello!

I need some help with my new pc. Okey its about one week old now and having still problems.
I had problems while i was playing BF4. I could play about 1-3 hours then crashed. Yesterday i installed OS again and now i'm having more problems.
Before installing OS i had errors like 0x1a, 0x1 and something like that.
it says something about my drivers but i have installed all drivers from Gigabytes website, Asus (because of my graphics card and motherboard manufacturer and my friend told me to download from there)
So all my drivers are up to date.

thanks in advance

Edit: okey now i did this right way :) i'm new here

Of the three .dmps that were processed two were for the BF4 game and one was for atikmdag.

This would lead me to believe that your graphics card is being overworked while using the game.

  • Do you run any other games; Do you have problems with them if you do or just BF4?

The Gigabyte R9 270X OC Windforce 3x in your system specs uses AMD drivers. This: How to troubleshoot ? Display driver stopped responding and has recovered?, ATIKMDAG.sys type errors may be helpful in resolving your problem.

You also show MsMpEng.exe in the Windows Error reporting of the System Information report. This relates to a core process of Windows Defender and can cause high CPU usage, and this usage while running a graphics intensive game could be the cause of your problem.

Since you do show MSE as your antivirus program, I have to ask, was there any other antivirus on your machine before you made the move to MSE?

If there was, try following the answer here by Dr. Strangelove: MsMpEng.exe excessive disk usage problem. - Microsoft Community it involves making sure any original antivirus bloatware that you removed to install MSE, is removed. You may have to reinstall MSE to make sure it is working properly. I would.

When you install MSE, Defender should automatically be disabled in Windows 7, the fact that it is still active would point to inconsistencies from an older antivirus program, Defender and MSE.

I would still follow the advice in my first link from AMD troubleshooting, it involves a lot of suggestions about making sure every program is up to date on your machine, as an example, you don't show that you have SP1 installed for your operating system (OS).

Whichever you decide to tackle first; the atikmdag or MsMpEng problem, stick with it before you go to the next one.

If you continue to have problems after going over these two, please post a new SF_TOOL_report.

Thanks for answer.

I haven't tested any another games yet. And i when i re-installed OS i installed just MSE.
I'm now trying some of those fixes what you suggested. And i think that i saw in bios that my cpu was clocked to 4.3 ghz i'm not sure. I haven't clocked it but i have all bios settings on auto but yeah i check that later.

Edit: I was installing windows updates and crashed 2 times. Look attachments

The newest .dmp still points to atikmdag.

The solutions depend on how far you got with the reinstall of the OS.
This wasn't a Factory recovery was it? If it was there still could be bloatware from the manufacturer.
If not, did you format the HDD before you reinstalled?

How far did you get with the AMD troubleshooting link? Go over it again and see if you missed anything. Do you have the driver version of the G-byte graphics card?

I don't have enough information from your system specs to tell if you're overclocking or not, check, and if you are, stop!

The 0x19 error calls for a run of: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable but make sure you read this: Driver Verifier Settings You should set a system restore point, have an image backup, and a repair disk.

If I get a chance I'll go over your Driver list.

When you use the SF_BSOD_TOOL are you using the "Grab All" button? I'm only seeing your .dmps and it would be very helpful if I have the full report.

At this point I can only suggest to make sure the bf4 game and any engine like Frostbite 3 is fully uninstalled then reinstall it.

If you can obtain new copies.

From today's date - 01-21-2014 - you had two different .dmps this time but both relate to memory.

bf4 caused this one: STOP 0x0000001A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, And,
Chrome caused this one: STOP 0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

In going over your System information report I saw this application error
Code:
21.1.2014 1:44 Application Error Faulting application name:[COLOR=Blue] Dwm.exe[/COLOR], version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bc541
[COLOR=Blue]Faulting module name: atidxx64.dll, version: 8.17.10.525[/COLOR], time stamp: 0x52a234c4
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000000ca8c
Faulting process id: 0x7c0
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf164a416db095
Faulting application path: C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\atidxx64.dll
Report Id: 7f8d32dd-823d-11e3-ade0-d850e6db09b3
Dwm relates to Windows Aero, If you go a little further in the code box you will see Faulting module name: atidxx64.dll, version: 8.17.10.525 and this tries in with your Catalyst drivers.

Please go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Device Manager and click on Display Adapters or it could be Video adapters, see if Catalyst Control Center is listed there - anything Catalyst - , if it is right click on it then properties, Driver Tab.

Either upload a snip of the Driver Date and Version or type in the date and version in your next reply. Catalyst can be hard on Windows especially if you don't have the right version for your setup.

The most recent is AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver for Windows 8 / Windows 7 (64bit) Version 13.12 | Date 12/18/2013

But some users are reporting better success with bf4 using the 13.11 beta version below it.
Make sure you have Microsoft .NET4 Framework up to date, the AMD Catalyst Control Center requires it.

It is always a good idea to set a restore point and to have a backup of your HDD(s) if you decide to go ahead and update. :

If it doesn't work:

umh... where does that CCC should exactly read? In display adapters tab i can only see AMD Radeon R9 200 series and in that i can't find anything about CCC. But when i open CCC program i see there that i have
Catalyst Version 13.12. And i had some more BSODs while just computer was idle. btw friend gave me windows 8.1 so i try to install that. Startups are faster ^^,

My apologies, I failed to include that you should be able to see Catalyst Control Center (CCC) listed in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.

You might have better luck if you downgraded CCC to the 13.11 version listed in the link from my last post, but I don't know if I can continue to help you if you're going to change the operating system (OS) while we're trying to figure out what is wrong.

Did you do the change legally?
