I have a corrupt AudiSes.dll in Windows/System32 which I wish to replace as part of the process of clearing up a number of problems on my Win 7 installation.
I would appreciate someone to verify that I will be using the correct command from the WRE - I will boot the WRE from CD drive D and be working on Win 7 installed on drive C
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\AudioSes.dll /offbootdir=c:\/offwindir=c:\windows
this is supposed to repair the corruption
Thanks in advance
Mike
