SFC Scannow Can't Repair files: explorer.exe, fdeploy.dll, fde.dll

Hey everyone. New to the forums. I've lurked for awhile, but never had a reason to post. I feel bad that my first post is one asking for help, but I don't know what else to do.

My install of windows 7 (home premium, x64) is about 1 1/2 years old now. It came preinstalled on a refurbished work laptop I ordered off of TigerDirect. Everything has been smooth sailing up until a few days ago when it was behaving oddly.

Me being the stupid person that I am, I tried to set up a new partition and install Manjaro Linux. I wanted to dual boot, since I am a design student so I use windows and adobe a lot. I wanted to install linux temporarily, until Windows 10 came out, so I could have something snappy to do casual with over the summer.

However, I messed things up. I shrunk the Windows partition and created the Manjaro install on a new partition. Everything was working on the linux end. But when I tried to boot back into windows, all hell broke lose. Of course, GRUB was causing issues. It for some reason or another wouldn't let me back into windows. It kept giving me an error, saying that Windows was unable to start.

Frustrated, I used the Windows install disc that came with my computer. I used the repair tools to re-mount the windows partition, make it primary (so it could be seen by the Windows repair program in the first place) and proceeded to repair the windows boot process. It worked, and I was now able to boot back into windows. I lost the ability to boot back into grub, and therefore Manjaro, but that is okay for now.

For the next day or so, Windows seemed okay. I ran a full system scan with Malwarebytes and did a complete backup of my system to an external drive (since I was long overdue with making one). After a days worth of surfing the net, I wanted to close the lid of my laptop and put it into sleep for the night. But, nope.

Every time I try to put the damned computer into sleep or hibernate mode, the screen goes black and the status lights and fan just sit there for what feels like forever. It never successfully enters sleep or hibernation mode. The entire system locks up and either shuts itself down, or I have to do a hard-reboot.

So after doing some googling, I figured that I should run a sfc /scannow. I did, and the first time it seemed to go okay. At least I think. I rebooted the system, but the error still occured. Okay, so I ran scannow again. This time errors popped up. It said that it detected errors/corruptions, but could not repair them.

So I then booted into Safe Mode and ran the scan again. This time, I followed some loose instructions from a similar forum post here, and deleted the old logs so I could get a cleaner one to read. I'll attach the results for you guys to see for yourselves.

But what I gather from the log is that "explorer.exe," "fdeploy.dll," and "fde.dll" are corrupted. I read somewhere that it is possible to extract the files from an install disc, which I do have, but if there is an alternative solution, I am ready to try it.

Please let me know! I won't do anything until I hear back here, just so I don't mess anything up more than it already is, hah.

Again, sorry that my first post had to be on these terms... I hope that once all this blows over that I can post more to this forum, and not be the one asking for help!

Hello and welcome tiduscrying now I am no expert but run this and see if it makes any difference at all. To me it looks like you have made a bit of a mess of the machine.

Try running SFCFix.exe by Niemero with windows cd in drive http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe
