Shared connection between win7 & Vista lost after installing AVG

I had shared connection between my laptop with win 7 home prem x64 and desktop with vista home prem x64 until I changed from AVG antivirus to AVG Internet Security 2011 with firewall today for both. Previously Windows was the only firewall for both. I changed the software in the desktop first. At that time I could still accecss files in my desktop from my laptop. But the sharing from both sides stopped after I made the change in the laptop. Now I can't see one computer from the other. I remember that I had a tough time while configuring sharing between these two. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The problem is that "AVG Internet Security 2011" is blocking the shares with its firewall. You need to turn on sharing in the "AVG Internet Security 2011" firewall. -WS
