i have issue with keepass2 where i store my username/passwords.

i like to also add when i type in shift when i try to capitalize a letter etc... it would keep pasting on a line etc. could this be related to keepass i cant even type in the shift button because doing so would copy and paste right here. example if i copied and pasted the word george then when i press shift, it would type george... if i press it again it would go georgegeorge 2x. i read online that this could because of the insert button but i pressed it and it doesnt do anything at all. im guessing this could be related to the keepass issue i cant even type question mark because this requires me presing shift. and now i cannot access my passwords at all. well i could sort of with 1 at a time but its not 100 percent because of that add entry popup. and many of my passwords are capital letters so how can i even type in my password since i have the shift issue

What happens if you just put capslock on and off instead?

well it does type it in cap letters i think. im not 100 percent sure. the thing is my laptop is connected to an external monitor and one of my usb ports i connect an external keyboard to my laptop etc and use it. I then did some trial and error and just pressed control or fn and number lock etc. i then opened up keepass and right now i dont have any issue with the shift or when i right click something on keepass. However later on it will have the same issue. does anyone know why it does this? when i restart computer, i will surely have this problem yet again.

however when i want to type in @ or ! that is my issue.

Do you have the keyboard leaning against the touchpad by any chance? On my Toshiba I use an external USB keyboard. Typing into forums as I am now I kept getting spurious caret movement(jumping around) and weird stuff. I pressed F9 and it stopped. There may be a key to temporarily disable the touchpad when a keyboard is also attached. Depends on the make of Laptop.
