aight...here's my ultimate rig..just finished it a couple weeks ago, but my house burnt down in a fire so i lost everything..but i WILL rebuild dam it..lol ..i think i'll upgrade the graphics cards from evga gts 250's to gtx 460's..i'll list my system specs in my profile....i designed everything custom & modded...woohoo..

Took the side fan off and stuck it behind the HDD cage with some cable ties..



Temps are down a bit. Next, I'm gonna have to drill some holes and attach my Antec Big Boy 200mm to the side. See what happens after that.

I'm happy with the air flow coming from the bottom 140mm Noise Blocker. I've heard reports of a fan here being ineffective but it works for me.

Just finished that paint job...

Took 2 cans of satin black, because it was windy outside!! I think I got more on my hands than the case...


But anyway, the end result:


Still tossing up whether to do the power supply too... but that can wait for another day.

And temps are still consistantly around 23C~27C, 34C GPU

lol...nah..it ran nice n cool cos of the 12 fans
even after 4 hours of everest stress testing, the cpus never went above 54 C
usually the hard drives were about 84 F....graphics cards were about 105 F & 120 F..so i was happy..

even after 4 hours of everest stress testing, the cpus never went above 54 C
usually the hard drives were about 84 F....graphics cards were about 105 F & 120 F..so i was happy..

And in metric:
Harddrives, 28ish C
G cards, 40ish C & 48ish C

I guess 12 fans would do that.
I thought I went overboard with 6, so I removed the two noisiest when I reassembled yesterday.

I'm running 3 fans and I doubt that I actually need 1 of them.

I run 12 fans in total including GPU and PSU my 230mm side fan is down right now and I feel kind of naked......is that wrong ?

That's interesting... My 4650 receives a 6.8/6.8 in WEI and yours does not; Do you have the DDR2 version?

I just OC'd mine and still only managed to get a 5.6/6.6. Maybe because my pci-e slot is only running @ x8?

Can you post a GPU-Z snip? I wanna see your settings.

Yours is a Sapphire GDDR3. Mine is A Gigabyte DDR2. Yours is better than mine Your bandwith is 22.4GB/s mine is only 16.6GB/s
