Let me be the first to say I'm proud of you for turning your life around. Whatever it was...the fact you recognized it and made the change.....even if it was made for you I'm proud that you see it for yourself. Friends like whom you had come and go but deep and meaningful friends are forever. Maybe even some of these old friends will come around and see what you are doing by example. Yes take a computer course that will for sure plant a seed, but most of us here are just mad enthusiasts that just don't know when to quite.....lol. The fact you are here and reading and learning will quickly grow into a pool of knowledge that you can use building your second system and beyond. In building a system in my opinion the case and the PSU are the back bone and the beginning that everything else is built around. Good luck to you and stay the good course ! I will leave you with this:

You did a great job. The case looks like it will be filtered well and quiet. Do you have a removable motherboard tray or removable side panel behind the mobo. If so then you for sure can play around with routing the cables behind the mobo but the system looks very nice just as it sits !

Hi, thanks. It is pretty quiet. There is a removable panel for cable management and access to the far side of the MB for cooler mounting brackets. I have most routed there already
I wouldn't get an Antec PS again I think - this one is modular but there is a gaggle of non-modular cables emanating from it that are very stiff and hard to manage and mostly unneeded.


Now collecting parts for my second build for a family member.

I also cleaned up my life a few years ago and quit using and it is well worth it, you don't need 'friends' like those anyway, they'll just take you down with them, keep looking up and always remember you are loved.

2 out of 4 people do not make it pass 2 years with no relapse. am at about 9 months. my dirst day of treatment was march 8th. I am abput to turn 21 and lose my health care. SO I will not be able to do treatment much longer. This is where it is going to be sooo hard. When I dose now. I can not get anything out of anything. Because the medication I take and made to do that. But when I stop i will have nothing to do that for me. I am hoping I can still try and go every couple of days at least to keep it in my system so I do not have to worry.

But anyway. I think this might be a good place to ask. I am thinking about trying to get a new better Video card. I have noticed that the new Hp elite and all those $1000 computers have the ATI Radeon HD 5000 series but not one that is more than 100 dollars. I currently have a 4200 integrated Graphics card. my desktop performance for windows graphics is 4.3. My 3-D gaming is 5.3. If I was to get lets say a 5670. Would that make much of a difference in my rating? Also I am going to need to upgrade my PSU if I want to upgrade my computer. Because it does not have much more power for upgrades. That is what I have read anyway. If I was to buy a new PSU. Where would I buy it?

Also does anyone know of a place online that I could go that I could see all compatible parts for my computer? Like I could put in what my computer is or what it has. And It would show me all upgrade/Parts that would work with my computer. I have read that newegg is a good place to go to buy stuff. Is this true?

NewEgg has good prices and great sales, pretty good selection but, you need to know what your looking for.
Their combo deals will be compatible, just be sure your system is compatible with the combo deal.

Micro Center has good deals also if there is one near you, no delivery.

Getting a 4GHz+ OC'd 920 in a MicroATX case was not a simple process! It used to also run quad SLI, but unfortunately got rid of one of the 295's
