kellymac35,
Nice overall upgrade. Were you running a ssd drive before? I'll bet you're seeing a huge difference in video and hard drive performance. I'm holding out for an larger ssd drive but living fine with the 64gb currently. Very clean installation with excellent wire management......I'd expect nothing less ! Cheers
Thanks Alan, When I originaly built this rig I installed and Intel 80GB SSD but like you I was looking for a larger drive. Compaired to what I spent for the 80GB SSD the 240GB was a great deal. Beginning all items purchased from Newegg.

linnemeyerhere your rig sounds like mine. Except for the 955 Vs. 965 and msi instead of gigabyte for mobo maker.

Tony I have the 23" ASUS monitor and omg its amazing.

I have been gaming on a DELL XPS for the last 2-3 years. I had a blast building my rig and can't wait to get even deeper with OC'ing and such but I'm a first timer so kinda taking it slow.

I knew ASUS made great parts but I didn’t know about their monitors and I needed one with speakers built in because I'm to stingy to buy speakers but I also wanted the biggest screen I could get away with without the fiancée throwing a fit. (I tried to convince her I needed crossfire but that was a no go for now lol)

We have a 32" TV (I think) and she made the same comment.

I am blind though so I think she understands I usually have to sit REALLY close to the monitor but this one is so great I don’t have to even at a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

At first I had 2 6870's picked out and she was like I don’t think so (I should of never shown her my list) then I tried getting away with 2 6850's but she was already onto me. I was going to get the 6870 but the difference in performance and money just didn’t add up for me.
