First I stripped down the entire case. Removing the DVD burner "quick connects" was a little tough, but I figured out a nice trick. Then I drilled out all the rivots. Taped up the pieces and steel wool all the surfaces to be painted. Then I hung them in the back yard. Each piece got a least three coats. Flat black and "Krylon Patriot Blue" for plastic. Should have used clear coat after that to help protect the surfaces, but I didn't. The next day, popped rivot back together with black rivots. Even painted the DVD burner and card reader.Very very nice Dwayne.
How did you paint it? My paint job didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped, but it looks alright.
