My scores seem to be in line with those of others here, so I'm guessing it's just listing the driver used. The iaStor being the Intel driver (I looked it up) and the AHCI listing being the standard Windows AHCI driver.

Unless someone tells me I'm wrong.

I have learned the hard way and this is the result:

Looks like you tried to RAID the 80GB and 40GB, this will only use less than 40GB on your 80GB SSD.

As mentioned previously, RAID'ing these is not recommended. You'll not see a noticeable performance increase, not enough to justify loosing 40GB on a SSD.

RAID'ing two X25 V's will give excellent performance but you won't have Trim, you will have to run it manually and re-install often.
Check the AnandTech site for the RAID'ed X25 V review.

The total score at the bottom is very low for a single 40GB SSD let alone a RAID'ed one.

Leave your Write Cache enabled, you'll get better performance.

Yes, I agree. Windows felt not so lightweight anymore, hence, it was faster with single X25 80GB in AHCI mode. The only thing gained was Seq. Read speed. Everything else was alot slower.

Maybe I will try to get another X25 80GB drive but I wonder if Raid controller on Asus P5Q is good enough for this task?

As said another thing to consider is Trim function and complexity of raid array.

I must also say this is really good forum, lot of replies and I like it.
