What should 4 GB of DDR3 at 1600mhz in dual channel be? I can't get it higher than 5.9, but I think it should be higher...

Dont feel bad, Yesterday i got a PM from someone from another thread, His complant was no matter what he did, he couldn't get anything to report above 5.9.

Turned out he was using Windows Vista. rb:

Here is my wife's laptop score. I only get it at night to play with windows 7. I'm lovin 7. It's a basic laptop (hp), for her school and work.

If I bought another OCZ Vertex and put them in RAID 0, would the score increase? I was thinking about getting another one because 30GB for an OS is kinda limiting. I just installed Win 7 and finished optimizing it. I have 21.8GB free before installing any programs and I don't think that's enough because I have a lot.

Well, if you ever do and the score improves, post your results. Sadly, I have a terrible mobo that will not allow me to overclock.

Also, do you know if the graphics score reflects SLI, or does it not affect the score at all?

seems I discovered something and sorry if this is already well known.

but the benchmark score seems to be capped based on what hardware you have, eg. my spare box with a 7600GT in it is faster in aero than this machine with a 8800GT in it for unknown reasons, in every 3rd party 2d benchmark app and even the winsat command app it scores higher in graphics processing on the desktop. But this machine gets a much higher aero score in WEI. Seems MS maybe in collusions with hardware vendors to help them shift hardware by artifically manipulating WIE scores. Anyone else noticed this?
