Does anyone owns that ssd? Newegg.com - Kingston SSDNow V-Series SNV125-S2BN/64GB 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid state disk (SSD) Notebook bundled accessory kit - Solid State Disks
It's quite cheap, so i was wondering if is it worth buying it? How much does it scores in WEI?

That would considered a 'value' ssd. It only reads up to 100MB/s. I have an Intel Mainstream G2R5 80GB and it reads 252MB/s. It makes the response time quite impressive.

How do they determine the hard drive score? It seems to be pull me down. I'm running a RAID 0.

I have no idea myself, but if you want a better score for HDD I believe you would need a ssd

Not sure how WEI calculates it but you won't see it going over 5.9 very often without an SSD, I have noticed that.

I feel like doing a RAID 0 on 3 SSD . That should speed up the writes.

Fresh install (2 hours old). Not completely done playing with everything yet. A little concerned about my HDD score. Also, how can I see if the correct chipset drivers are installed? New to W7, is there a report or something I could get and send to one of the gurus here to just check that everything is right? Would sure appreciate it.

Here's mine from my new build...

Even though the 9800GTX+ and the GTS250 are basically the same card...I think I got a higher score with the 9800 in there. Also, when I had Windows on my 1TB drive, it was a 5.9. Oh well...the GTS has HDMI and I need the 1TB for system backups so....

System spec has red flags. I run my i7 faster that this by .5 ghz and still only get 7.6 We all know the limits on mechanical HDD.

Exactly right, it's no way possible to get 7.9 overall yet.

You need the fastest processor to be twice as fast,
You need the fastest RAM to be twice as fast and running with 8GB
You need the fastest GPU (ATI 5890) to be a half faster than what it is.
You need the fastest SSD to be 3 times as fast.

In short nope!
