Silverlight Regitry Leftovers

Silverlight updated a few days ago.Can I safely delete these?I don't like messing with the registry,but I find that if I keep monitoring it,maintenance is low.Hope I'm right.By the way,good mornin' from South Carolina.

Whever dealing with the registry, potential problems are always ready to strike. I would back up the registrybefore deleting the entries.

I and many other members feel that best to leave registry alone. This is not XP, Windows 7 does not need registry tampering.

If you do this, you will not have problems.

With Windows 7 the best advice is to leave the registry alone...you are inviting trouble that you really dont want... Forget about registry defragers .. it wont do anything to increase your speed.. The old axiom applies here .... If it aint broke, dont fix it!

I shall be rid of registry tools then.CCleaner File Cleaner?Auslogics Disk Defrag?

CCleaner is good. Just do not use the clean registry option too often. Frequent defrags are not necessary and the one included with the OS is just fine.

I would prefer to use Windows/Microsoft products.It just seems to figure that the creators would know best their cration.Am I right?

I tend to agree. MS has a free antivirus, too. I use their defragger, that came with the system.

I use MSE.Not knowing anything about the market,I got caught up in security suites.What a laugh.System was so secure I couldnt run system restore.Got rid of it with recovery.MSE seems pretty reliable and very compatible with my set up.I'm happy.
