SiS mirage 3 issue on windows 7 but works in windows XP

Dear all,

i have a question regarding Sis Graphic card,
My VGA is SiS mirage 3, with chip type: SiS672 series.
version 7.14.10.5280 (on windows 7, driver file name: R528_Logo.zip).
my friend and i have exactly same laptop with those VGA card in it.
the problem is, when i try to play dynasty warrior online,
i can't play with my laptop, right at the "Press any Key" menu on that game,
i can't see it,
while on my friend's laptop is able to play with no problem at all,
the only different is he using windows XP.
the question is what do i have to do in order to make my windows 7 able to play that game also?

Welcome to Seven Forums.
If you will run Windows upgrade adviser it should tell you what is going on with your graphics, I'm fairly certian it's not compatible with Windows Seven.

thank's for the response,
but i also did try it on other laptop,
with windows 7, but it's works fine,
and it's a netbook.
it's graphics card is intel not sis.
that's why i'm certain that it is the issue between sis and windows7.

Microsoft Update Catalog

SiS drivers available from MS. Over 1000 drivers for SiS. First page has some Win 7 video drivers at top.
Click Add on right side of page. Then click basket at top right under Search bar.

i have search it for my sis 672 series,
but i couldn't find.
and also my version is higher than the one in that list.

Unzip if it is a zipped file.
Try a regular install as if it is a Win 7 driver- Just double click.

i have done that also.
i download the latest one: R528_Logo.zip
i think it's better than the previous version, right?
but i still have the issue

I don't know what to tell you.

That is all I have.
It may be the graphics card just can't run it. I'm not saying that is necessarily the problem but is possible.

Sorry. Maybe someone else will think of something.
