Hello,

I need to ask for your advice here. I have browsed this forum but none of it helped so far.

I am running two operation systems on my Macbook via boot camp. Original MacOSX and Win7 32.

I am using my school internet via LAN in the campus where I live.

When I do the speed test in macosx, it shows around 7-10 MBit/s but when I do the same test on my Windows, it never shows more than 0,7 Mbit/s. Upload speed is the same under both systems.

I tried to reinstall Windows, use different drivers (windows one, the original one from apple bootcamp and the updated one from new bootcamp) for my nforce LAN card but none of it helped. I also tried to switch off firewall but that was not the issue. I found a couple of things with registry and settings here but as I say, still the same.

I don't want to get rid of this system, but I have no more ideas of what to try. Please if you know about anything that might help, I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks

Sorry I don't have a real answer, but could you post what you get under XP?
I am thinking this is related to TCP/IPv6 so you might try disabling it.

Yes, I tried it a month ago on XP and it worked just fine.

I just tried to uncheck TCP/IPv6 in the Properties on my LAN card, restarted my computer but it is still the same.
