Last week I assembled a new computer based on a Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard. The computer works fine and I have my normal download speed (30/30 Mbit cable with a tilgin router) on most sites and downloads.

The strange thing is that on some pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Adobe Flash download page and some pages with embedded videos (not youtube) the loading slows to a crawl (10-15kb/s)

When I try to load the same webpages on my other computers with excactly the same connection and OS there are no problems. Changing webbrowser doesnt fix the problem and i have also tried to reinstall windows and updating all drivers. Even with only windows installed and no other programs or drivers except LAN-drivers the problem excist. Disabling TCP autotuning is also ineffective.

Anybody got a solution?

Best regards
Thomas Larsen

Try right clicking cmd prompt, run as admin and type" ipconfig /flushdns", see whether it helps.

"ipconfig /flushdns" didn't solve the problem.

Both Flash and Java drivers are the newest from their webpages.

Problem solved:
Turns out that I had too much RAM installed (32Gb) when I removed 16 Gb the problem stopped. Crazy world :o

32gb Ram whoa that's a serious amount. I've just upgraded from 4 to 8 as I run a couple of virtual machines and it works fine. Can't imagine I'll ever use even 16gb :)
