Slow PC since Cloned C Drive

Hi folks,

Running into a spot of trouble and wondered if anyone could help?

I recently cloned my C drive from a smaller SSD to a larger SSD. (The PC worked perfectly before I did this I only upgraded due to limited space).

Since then the PC runs slowly and certain high pressure programmes like Premiere crash.

What I’ve done so far:

Full antivirus, spybot and Malware Bytes run. No errors.

Checked disk for errors. None.

Checked performance of the PC and that all looks fine / low. PC is cool and not straining or overheating.

Attempted a system restore (but not able to due to a missing file). (Tried re-doing this without antivirus turned on and it still didn’t work).

Updated all drivers

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thank you

Ajax

Initially, I can think of only one question.

How did you do the clone and what program did you use?
Often, the devil is in the details.
At first glance, it would appear that there was some problem in the cloning process.

I used minitool parition wizard standard C drive clone using thier automated system.

I would have tried plugging my old C drive back in but I think that software changes the drive so it can't be used anymore?

Also another thing worth mentioning is that I think all my other drives (apart from C drive with windows installation) have had their letters reassigned. Would that make a difference? Can't quite remember thier original letters either.

I named mine in the alphabetical order starting from C:/(system) and D:/ (burner) to make it easiest. I do not think it will change as if they're storage drives they will be automatically recognized.

PS: It will makes change if for example you have assigned all your games softwares to a special drive because you do not want to have it on the System drive...Just open your games softwares and reassign the new games installation path

Open Disk Manager (C:\Windows\System32\diskmgmt.msc), expand the window and the columns so we can read them and with the snipping tool take a snapshot of whole window and save it to your drive.
