Slow to load

Hi,have purchased a used Acer aspire one notebook. I am not very computer savvy, but know it should not take up to 2mins. to load a page. Seems to get better as it warms up. Please help before i throw it out the window.

Get rid of Norton.

Use MSE.

Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Defragment the hard drive 4 or 5 times.

Run Disk cleanup 2 to 3 times.

Still unhappy ?

Re install windows.

Throw it out the window if it makes you feel better, I would, I hate laptops
