So, I have a pretty decent laptop, the specs are:
i7
nvidia geforce 610m
6GB ram
2.30 GHZ

Recently I have formatted my PC and installed a new windows on it, after that, my laptop is having crazy lag, and don't ask me why.

The problems that occur on my laptop are:
- When I wake my PC up from sleep mode after 10 hours (not after 10 mins or even 2 hours) it begins to lag for like 10 minutes long, I can't open any programs for 10 mins but I can move my mouse and press the start button and so.
Also when I open my laptop, my pc automatic wakes up and that's normal, but after 10 hours in sleep mode, I have to press the standby button to wake my PC up from sleep mode.

- The second problem is, when I used to game before the formatting, it used to run the game smooth on high quality and background programs open on 100 FPS, now after the formatting, the FPS drops to 10, even in the worst quality mode with all the programs closed.

What is this and how can I fix this?

Thank you!

Oh it was BitDefender that caused the issue of lagging when waking up from standby.
Thanks for the tip for cleaning boot!

Now my other issue which I couldn't fix with the clean boot, after reinstalling my PC and start gaming, I get FPS drop and it may be stuck at 5-15 FPS for ages, before formatting I didn't even get as low as 50, so what's wrong with my PC now?

Did you try injecting a bunch of drivers into a driver-complete OS like it is XP? I would start over and follow the steps to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

You will keep a perfect install to the exact extent you stick with the steps, tools and methods in the tutorial, which is based on what's worked best in tens of thousands of installs we've directly helped with here.
